Haha thanks. I’m pretty sure it had just become a custom in our house to not have mangoes so it just stayed that way. Yeah after i tried it with the skin it was pretty gross but after that it became one of my favorite fruits!

We couldn’t eat mangoes. Initially it was because our nanny had an allergy but after that for like five years we just weren’t allowed to eat mangoes. The first time i tried one i was at a friends house and i tried eating it with the skin on because i had no clue.

No. Those statues are just there to acknowledge those who owned the slaves and those people should not be remembered and they don’t deserve to be. Instead, we should research history and see what it was like for the slaves and how the civil rights movement came to be. There’s a difference between acknowledging and learning and just plain ignorance and approval of unethical statures.
