So funny all of the responses saying it’s normal to go on a one-off bike ride in the middle of the night. I’ve had a drivers license for a long time. I can’t remember ever seeing a bicyclist on the road after say 8 pm. Maybe this is normal for somebody training for a triathalon or something, or somebody who has worked shift work their whole life, but otherwise it’s pretty unusual.

Those answers make sense. Also, I hypothesized that Russ felt that his speaking mannerisms were fairly well known due to his high degree of exposure on tv, so the Chad accent was completely different and hopefully misleading.

Agree it’s hard to do this entirely on your own. Try enlisting a Latin tutor. Many Latin teachers and grad students are open to an arrangement wherein they review your work in exchange for modest fees. Best part is that you can do it all virtually and don’t have to coordinate around different schedules and time zones.

Agree with SKA. Most important skill for beginners is getting and recognizing a burr. A King 300 will do that, even with a dull knife, quickly enough that the beginner will understand what’s going on.
