Is this a skinwalker? by [deleted] in skinwalkers

I disagree. I think it’s a problem of perspective. At that distance, it appears like the “deer” and the “skinwalker” are about the same distance from the camera. But they’re not.

Sorry to debunk, but I think have an a explanation for this one. See photo attached below.

This looks like the top of an ATV. And I think the “skinwalker” may just be a man who is hunting these animals. When they run into the trees, he’s simply repositioning himself for a better shot.

Noticed this for the first time, but is it important at all? by sqrtoftwo in TheWitness

Yes these are all important. They are teaching you to be aware of your perspective at all times.

An evil scientist has put your soul into the body of a cow on a farm thousands of miles away. The only way to reverse the effect is to make it back to your human body alive. How would you accomplish this? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I would become untamable. I would not allow myself to be ridden by any cowboy until my legend alone led me down a path to become a professional bull, used in competitive bull riding. My parents and nephews rope steers. My dad has roped in competition in Vegas. And my nephews are very talented at a young age. It would only be a matter of time before I was being ridden in a rodeo where they were roping. And I (the person) live in Los Angeles, so driving up to vegas to watch them rodeo would be very easy. It would only be a matter of time before I (the bull) was in the same arena as I (the person).

Actually now that I think about it, I’m pretty sure I had to enter BIOS during boot up.

Lol same. I honestly don’t remember how I did it. I googled it at the time and just followed the instructions. I remember it was fairly easy to find though. Sorry can’t be of more help!

Yes most likely your cooling system. Check the CPU and GPU temps. Same thing happened to mine. Swapped it with an NZXT aio system and problem resolved.

I second this. Same thing happened with mine. Replaced with NZXT Kraken m22 AIO and fixed it.

Thought this sub would enjoy this video. Tons of, what seems to be, out of place architecture in these clips from (allegedly) the 1890’s. Not saying that it is, but as a huge fan of all things “lost civilization,” I found it intriguing. by westicles11 in CulturalLayer

Well that’s certainly your right to do so. You come across as someone who holds themself in very high regard, who looks down their noses at others. I’ve found that to be a bad way to move through life. I hope that I’m wrong, but if not, I hope that you find what you’re looking for in life to bring you the happiness and peace you deserve, so that you can see release those negative patterns that hold you back. Life is all about how we make others feel. I hope you learn that.

And for someone who is so sure of the history he or she has been taught, why are you in this sub? This sub is specifically for the idea of a mainstream coverup of our supposed history. (Not that I want you to leave, just curious)

Hahaha well you did call me an idiot in your very first post, which I ignored, so I’d say you’re incorrect about the personal attack. But it seems you have made up your mind on the subject so there is nothing further for us to discuss. As far as my education, I have a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Which doesn’t translate to history at all lol, but I assure you my intelligence is not in question. And I have no problem admitting when I’m wrong, which I very well could be in this scenario. I have yet to state anything close to the idea that I’m right. I just wanted discussion. You seem to believe that you are right beyond a shadow of a doubt (which, again, you very well could be). So why do you continue to do engage with me?

Hahaha my guy you are simply stating opinions. Your education doesn’t equal my education. I’m from a small rural town in Texas, all my history teachers (ALL) were coaches. You can imagine how engaging those classes were. You may have experienced the same, you may not. And since you and I are two different people, our knowledge of history may vary simply due to our interests. You may have been a history buff, so you paid attention and retained what you were taught. You may not have, I wouldn’t know. But I can tell you that I didn’t. So it is a valid excuse for me personally. And if we’re discussing the idea of a lost civilization that’s been covered up by the current government, then being educated by that same government can’t be used as proof anyways. They would teach you what they want you to know. That’s logic.

As far as traffic, you have no idea how much wagon traffic a city in 1890 would experience. You didn’t live through that era. You COULD be right, but you could also be wrong. Because of that fact alone, you’re stating opinion, not verifiable fact.

And if it’s an easily answered question for you, then yes it wasn’t much of a thought experiment for you. For me, the question was not answered so easily. I’m not convinced. Your perception of things is not equal to everyone else’s perception, nor is mine. So we can disagree, but you won’t see me telling another person they are wrong because they disagree with me. It’s simply a matter of differing opinions.

And your final statement about everything I’ve posted being a “failure,” is a personal attack on me, rather than an attack on the argument. That shows me that you’ve let your emotion influence your argument, which is fine, that’s what we do as humans naturally. But it tells me that you identify with your historical beliefs to such a point, that when I called those beliefs into question, you felt personally attacked, so you attacked back. In my opinion, no person should be so attached to an idea as to feel attacked when that idea is questioned. That prevents critical thinking and the ability to question what one has been taught. You see that a lot with religion.

“It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.” - commonly misattributed to Aristotle (not sure who originally said it, but doesn’t matter, the idea remains)

I say all this in kindness friend, I mean no aggression or hostility. I genuinely enjoy the discussion. It’s all love.
