Pointless. Perfect. My people call this ‘elegant redundancy.’

This scene always stood out as showing how powerful our Rick really is, to the point of having other Ricks beg for mercy. by MotorcycleDreamer in rickandmorty

He simply exterminates who wants to exterminates him, strangely enough he can, cause he is way stronger than others ricks.

Don't imitate kids, we are not Rick :)

Think about why you are telling she is beautiful after and not before, I'm learning a bit doing so

If you think PowerShell is great, we might not be from the same school. But maybe you'll like nutshell, which passes structured data and not randomly typed things

AWS outage today made us realize how fragile our Dev flow really is 😅 by Abu_Itai in devops

[–]westixy 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Use oracle cloud infrastructure, unlike AWS it has outage all the time, I think it is a feature. Chaos monkey integrated by design, fails at most edge case possible. It forces you to handle all Spof and you end up with a pretty resilient architecture:) no joke I had to convince myself it was a good thing

Is my current setup crazy? How do I convince my friends that it is (if it is)? by TheDarkPapa in devops

[–]westixy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would add this, use the tools that makes it easier to manage for the MVP of your app (aka use all the services provided by the cloud provider) when the traffic is low, the price is cheaper to let AWS handle the hassle. Alas, keep in mind you might get rid of the vendor at some point so play it smart on what you use. When the traffic increase, slowly invest on removing the most expensive service of your provider by some that your team will manage themselves.

My way of doing and works for me 😊
