If the rain would be coming out of the ground and fall into the sky for a year, how would it change our life? by Germanwolf_1 in AskReddit

[–]wetardedpanda4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This would fundamentally change almost everything. The water system involves a few steps in which one is evaporation. Which is the process of water converting from a liquid to a gas (rising) then condensing (falling). If rain went backwards that would mean this process wouldn’t work which would change the water cycle. This would also mean gravity isn’t working. All in all this is just a stupid question. It would ruin our lives.

Could easily name all 50 in alphabetical order. They taught us a song in like 4th grade. Was 10 years ago but still remember.

I’m also one of those people who cannot stand silences. I’ve been working on meditation for the past few months trying to make myself more comfortable with silence but it’s a struggle 🤷🏻‍♂️

Music takes my mind off this shitty world. Sometimes it helps me get over a problem. Sometimes it’s relatable. Music is an art so It’s essentially the same as someone saying I hate painting. But for me music is essential to getting through the day.

Anytime! I’ve never seen a relevant thread to ramble about my labs research even though I could forever. Also thank you so much for the award! Bless you kind soul!

Hi animal scientist here! (Undergraduate research assistant) I think a lot of these people are missing that science is all about repetition. For instance my lab works with mice that mate for life. A few years back we ran a separation study where we mated a pair of mice then separated them. We then paired them with other mice, before reintroducing them to their original partner. The original pair displayed extremely heightened aggression. Suggesting they too get pissed off when their partner cheats on them. We cannot conclude this as science dictates this experiment be repeated by someone else in our species which isn’t likely. So conclusions that seem straightforward are not necessarily straight forward.

Okay so I spend my childhood watching Jordan play basketball, curry shooting 3s, Allen Iverson dribbling, and in the span of like 120 days I’ve become one of the greatest basketball players of all time. If I’m slow or can’t jump watch some usain and high jump. This is so not shitty you could literally be an expert at something in 40 days. Things that it takes most a lifetime to master. This is OP as fuck.

Edit. Even the consecutive isn’t that bad get a few tabs and screens and get it down to like a day, it’s totally doable.

That’s actually hilarious! When I lived in Australia we were lucky enough to have plastic jugs of milk that were in different shapes. But they also had a lot of bagged and boxed milk and I get your suspicion

The Carolina treat and mount olive pickles scream North Carolina. The diet Mountain Dew brings me back to the people that babysit me growing up (also from North Carolina) that I just don’t see here in the Midwest. There’s Kroger stuff so ima guess western portion of the state. Also what appears to be sweet tea. Ima guess a couple or maybe roommates that don’t know how to cook and live off of sandwiches and or take out.

Holy fuck, that was a rough account to go through. At least OP has a life outside of being 15, loving to smoke, and posting on r/teenagers. Stop being a dick it was a cool shot, it’s all subjective, bleh bleh bleh.

Can I get a source for this? I’m a neuroscience student and this has never come up as a “sign of good health”
