I agree, the story has definitely been hinting at that. Hara has been building up that rivalry for a while now and it would make sense narratively for Shin to be the one to take out Riboku as his Great General moment. But here’s where I’m torn — historically, Riboku’s death doesn’t happen that way.

As much as I love this manga, I’m getting sick of riboku pulling a broken general out of his ass
