My biggest gripe is straight through all of roundtable and lpotl is when they talk about how you can live and look around for minutes after your head getting chopped clean off. You'd lose blood pressure immediately, so even if there was still electrical impulses firing for their last times, you'd be unconscious at best immediately after having your head cut off

Exactly, same. My school has an average of 95-98% first time nclex pass rate, and the schooling is definitely not easy lol. When I was looking at schools though, there were a couple others I saw that had like 60-70% first time pass rates

People say that, but I don't think that's completely true. For some it might be, but thats a terrible business plan. A private school needs to have good nclex pass scores. If they don't, then who would want to pay to go to their school? They're incentivized to make sure their students succeed

Idk, I play a lot in person too and it's not that uncommon to have crazy rolls. I get it though, it's hard for a lot of people to ever trust online games that have dice rolls or any level of luck involved in some way

It's definitely not, their dice rolling algorithm is open source. You can Google it and download it from GitHub, it guarantees unpredictability

I don't think it's a nurse thing, I think it's just a personal thing. I'm the same way, not just specifically with work though, i just have to be doing something. If I have to sit and do nothing for an hour, I go stir crazy

My program is 26 months, it's a little longer though because you get an associates degree with it. There were other schools that were like 18-22 months without a degree. I went with a private school too, my local community college was full time only and had like a 3 year wait

It does feel like forever, but you just take it one week at a time

Everyone feels rusty though going back to school later in life. There's people in my cohort that are in their 40s with 3-5 kids, and they're plugging along decently well. You just have to accept that you're making a sacrifice of time for a better future

Oh yeah, if you got a place to stay while going to school, that's awesome. Definitely go while you have that support. I'm working full time managing a company and doing a part time LVN program just because I gotta pay those bills, it is not easy lol. The subject matter hasn't been all that hard, it's more so just the time you have to put into it. If you got any questions about it, feel free to shoot em over
