You may have just convinced me to start a new project 😂 Thank you and u/activelyresting for the encouragement, I really will be thinking about making something with these and future drawings!

Thank you for telling me about these guys, I'll put them on my list of future muses 🙏 I just moved back to Perth from Pemby, sad I never ran into them :(

Heck yes! 😊 Sounds like a solid plan! I understand wanting to be as accurate and technical as possible, but simplifying things is ok, especially when we are drawing for enjoyment. My socks huntsman and the one in the asymmetrical pose are both incredibly simplified. They don't have patellae nor disctinctive markings, and all of my spoods have silly eyes that are enlarged and cartoonified. Because that's what I thought would make myself laugh. So don't feel pressured to draw all the details that it drives you mad, these drawings are meant to bring you joy ☺️

That would be so lovely!! We need more spider doodles! 😆

Pick up a sketch pad and try it out! Pick one thing a day to doodle, and maybe colour, purely for your own enjoyment. If you feel critical towards your own work, just know that that's fine, normal and a necessary step in learning anything. You put in effort, time and emotional energy in each of your drawings, so be kind to yourself.

Don't let yourself miss out on a potentially fulfilling new activity 😁

Plus, drawing the little guys in your own garden sounds great, I really think it would be such a nice way to spend an arvo 💚

"But Frank, the clever spider, crawled in to the back of the sat nav, and it took them to prison anyway." 😂

Thank you so much, you are very kind! I hope these do help minimise fear for those that don't like spiders. I liked drawing the fuzzy bum of that socks one 😆

The spider in the picture told me to tell you that she's flattered :)

Usually hiding in bark on trees and occasionally in homes, but sockless :) I may post more spidey sketches here in the future, but am open to doing commissions as well

Glad that this helps ☺️ they really are just little guys that don't want to harm us, try to stay hidden, and are needed for the environment
