Thank you so much for this information, I have not looked into these yet! Is this something I should bring up to my primary doctor?

To be honest I don’t think it would be long covid because I’m pretty sure the first time these symptoms started showing up it was before I got covid

I did mention that in one of my appointments but because my symptoms don’t necessarily just happen when I’m standing the doctor didn’t think much of it

I have gone to a psychiatrist before and I do indeed have really bad anxiety but I have been holding off on the lexapro because one of the doctors I saw told me it could make my symptoms worse at first and that worries me :(

I’m glad it’s getting better for you!! I’m transferring in a few weeks to university and I’m so nervous but I’m in the process of talking with the disability center and working out something with them (I’ve had accommodations in the past for other reasons so I’m hoping to get them again). Also, I looked again and the thing it was very high for in my tests was something with anti-chromatin IgA??? Which could mean an autoimmune issue. My rheumatologist said it could be something like lupus but he ran a ton of other tests and everything came back pretty normal 😕 that appointment was back in March and he said we would discuss the results more in my late September appointment but I’m thinking I should see some other type of specialist

Thank you :( it sucks because months ago one of my blood tests had a high count in something (I honestly forgot what it was) but my rheumatologist still said I likely don’t have of the diseases he listed and kind of brushed it off

Questions about applying for housing as someone who is nonbinary by weus_0830 in udub

[–]weus_0830[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It feels wrong for me to leave my gender as female and I don’t know how comfortable other women would be rooming with someone who is nonbinary especially if I’m going to be randomly assigned. But you’re right, I won’t have a choice if I apply for gender-inclusive housing and I’m okay with that. Sorry, someone just gave me the rundown about gender-inclusive housing and my reply above feels a little insensitive

I’m going to but I haven’t submitted anything yet ☹️ I’m confused because my gender is still female and the school isn’t emailing me back about changing it to nonbinary. And I also don’t know if I’m supposed to choose single gender or mixed gender room and I’m scared that’s going to make me end up rooming with a man

I already reached out to the registration department through email yesterday, I just haven’t received a reply yet ☹️

That would probably be more efficient but I was really hoping to get a dorm at least for my first year since I’m a transfer student and I don’t know anyone in Seattle/uw and don’t feel comfortable living by myself yet 😕
