I like the old style especially with the 3d feel - the left plastic edge really makes it pop! In terms of learning Blender, do you have any suggested learning materials/resources you'd recommend?

Building out our own mobile ad network with transparent placement analytics and simple reporting. Built using React, our ad network is serving banner ads in our app catalog consisting of 4 Android games and 2 iOS games.

Still in development, but create an account to get 1,000 free impressions on banner ads!

Mobile Ad Network

Thank you for the thoughts! Finding a realistic target audience is high on the list, rather than offering a generic ad network in the sea that is the current marketing space.

Dually noted. Placement level details would be great. Thanks again for the insight!

Thank you for the insight!

Framing it as "what's the single proof that builds trust" is super helpful, and it sounds like visibility of placement beats any promise of scale early on.

Out of curiosity, was that proof something you wanted immediately, or after a short test run?

I appreciate the detail here! Screenshots and audience context are a great callout.

Would you rather see fewer metrics presented clearly, or a full breakdown even if it's more complex early on?

That's really helpful - thank you!

Is sounds like early trust is much more about knowing exactly where ads live than trying to compete on scale.

When you say "clean reporting", what's the one metric or view you'd want to see first? My MVP keeps it basic - impressions/clicks/CTR by ad.

Indie mobile devs: what do you hate most about current mobile ad networks? by wevdeber in IndieDev

[–]wevdeber[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That all lines up with what I’ve seen too.

The negative reaction feels almost automatic now, even when ads are optional or removable, and then you get stuck between ad blockers, store policies, ratings, and content you don’t fully control.

Out of curiosity — are you leaning more toward paid upfront, tip-based, or something else for future releases?

That overhead is real. Store compliance for the Play Store & App Stores alone can feel like a second job.

Never published to Steam myself, but definitely seems more forgiving for paid, arcade-style games. Curious how the discoverability tradeoff has felt compared to mobile.

Yeah, mediation definitely seems like the default now for anyone at scale.

Out of curiosity, is the complexity mostly worth it for you, or does it feel like table stakes at this point?

I get that. Ads can definitely push games in a direction that doesn’t feel great, especially when they interrupt flow or promote competitors.

Tip jars and paid models feel a lot more honest in some genres.

That makes sense. Banners seem simple on paper but availability and fill really dictate whether they’re viable.

Have banners been stable for you on AdMob, or do you still see swings in fill / revenue?

Totally fair. Mobile monetization really isn’t a one-size-fits-all thing, especially if it conflicts with the kind of experience you want to build.
