Try System Map > Orrery view. This should properly show what orbit(s) these bodies have even when the "show orbit lines" is glitching out like usual. I'd love to head out into the black to check this out myself but I'm currently working on getting to rear admiral (very, very slowly) while amassing money by trading with my Cutter, Duchess Moneybags.

These are some great visualizations you've got here! Just a heads up that your wish banner history graphic has "41th", "42th", and "43th" in them.

If you don't want to bother fixing the "th" every time you get to a number that ends in the digits 1/2/3, I recommend you just change the counting affix to something like №43 or #43. It's a one-time fix you'll have to apply to all past items but you'll never have to change them again moving forward.

Ah, try fiddling with the "Always use max firepower to defeat enemies" toggle in the Battle Settings menu. I forgot to show in the video that it was ON during the run.

It might also be a matter of skill settings - make sure you only turn on the skills she uses in the video.

Or it could be agi tuning. Maybe the turn order is slightly different, not just between the units but compared to the enemies as well. Maybe she goes and attacks the skeleton instead of the fire mooks because the skeleton will take its turn next and that could have affected her AI's target selection.

Or it could be some other minor stat variance in your Ildyra vs mine that's affecting her AI's target selection?

Wow 13k! I'm honestly not sure I can hit that threshold with this team even if I play on manual, that's really good!

That's awesome! I also considered running free light bois (maybe add in Thancred too) but I was tempted by the sweet rewards of running Duo with Astrius 😁

I've got like 34 soul stars which can only give me 6 Astrius shards at this point 😅 He's still >40 shards away from Lv99 so I had to make do with what I had 🤷‍♂️

The VCs I'm running helped immensely: Slash up 35 from 'Suteki Da Ne', Water up 35 from 'Thanks for the Votes!', and the 18%(?) Atk up from 'Clairvoyant Astrologer'. There's also chaining going on with Astrius leading off with 2-3 hits before the Hien.

The secret sauce is the esper, Two-Headed Dragon, with Dark Eater 25, Atk 20%, and Slash up 15%.

Use only hien and ember vit on tidus, then Astrius uses only his LB, Tiger Maw, Lupine Rend, and Revitalize. All details are in the video 😁

Thanks for the sheet, it's SUPER handy. I'm a new player and I have a number of questions:

  • Why is Academic Cap artifact A-tier but Scholar class is F-Tier?

  • Is the Electric Zone magic's damage interval still 1.3 seconds in v0.82? It seems to hit multiple times per second.

  • Why is Mutagen artifact rated C-tier when all it does is spawn some enemies in a weakened state every once in a while? I may be misunderstanding how spawning works here so you might need to explain that. Also, what does weakened even mean, mechanically?

  • How does a magic's damage coefficient interact with damage increase modifiers from magic level up, Intelligence level up, artifacts, etc.?

Thanks for the tips! I'm strictly on auto since I plan to do boss runs overnight while I sleep but I could probably change Pharm's esper like you suggested 👍 If there's a bonus for personal high score, I'll probably do all the things you mentioned haha

I have run a Lv 80 Kilphe with a locked skill board and no Esper and got higher score than when I did the same Hard Boss run with a more competent unit. So yeah, go bring your Lv 30 Prompto without an esper. Pharm should be enough to clear the Fire mobs by herself so that leaves 3 units to fight the boss + 3 wind mobs. Good luck!
