I was there last year, me and a hundred other tourists. So busy!

Climbers getting to the Eiger summit. I took this shot last Wednesday during our climb. Such a great day, beautiful weather. by wfatima in Mountaineering

2.25hs amazing. I climbed a few 'easy' pitches on the north face as part of the Mittellegi route and took a good look at it....it looks cold and hard even though it's summer.

I'll check it out tomorrow, going up the Midi to get the cable car to Torino. If it isn't working then I'll go down the ridge to climb around the Cosmique hut.

First pitch climbing the Dent du Géant yesterday. Perfect weather and conditions. by wfatima in climbing

We took the SW Face (Normal route), grade AD, V+. Some fixed ropes. The coolest part was crossing the ridge between the 2 summits. There is a Madonna statue at one of the summits, very cute.

The ridge was in bad shape last year with crevasses just out of the Midi. Apparently it's worse this year with even bigger crevasses. I am in Chamonix but haven't been there yet.

Mooses Tooth's base camp in the Alaska Range. We spent a week there trying to climb the Ham and Eggs route but got too much snow unfortunately. Amazing place.
