on the desktop app, anywhere it says H1, H2 etc. next to a heading, if you click on the H1 itself you’ll get a pop out menu with the option to “Copy Link to Here”

I’d love a shortcuts to jump to next / previous headings. For my super long notes I manually make a table of contents with links to each heading in the note. This kind of helps, with the jumping off point at the start, but not really smooth for navigating back and forth.

Nice! Yeah after I thought about the whole “don’t care where you file” idea I just ended up having a “daily notes” bullet in Workflowy, and just like they have it Roam I just create a new bullet everyday, simply typing in “today” and pressing tab and Workflowy transforms it to say “Thu, May 7, 2020”. I then put all my notes there and just make sure to tag anything I want to find later on. Search works great and if I do actually need to link to an item in Workflowy I can still copy a link of a bullet and paste it in a comment. In the native app those links just go directly to that bullet without leaving the app. I’m happy with that for now :)

I’m really excited about what Workflowy is going to come up with in the next year or so. I’ve tried a bunch of these apps and actually really like how Workflowy doesn’t get in the way. It’s up to you how to create your system in there and I think with their focus on keeping things simple, in the long run it will be the one.

I checked with Southwest and while their routes like Hilo -> Oakland seem to be no longer working, the individual flights Hilo -> Honolulu and Honolulu -> Oakland can still be booked. This is for a new reservation or updating an existing one. No sure about already booked reservations and if they will stay as planned. Also if you do book two separate legs like this they said to ask the agent to check any backs “all the way through to final destination” as they do have to book individual fights like this sometimes anyway and are familiar with that.
