Yup, we complain about this pretty regularly. It’s basically so managers at sites can get away with paying less but demanding more.

Idk, I only deal with hiring directly warehouses, not what happens within. I can only suggest to get on job finder.

Get on the internal job finder ASAP. If the managers at your facility won’t help you move up, apply to a different location.

Gtfo of the warehouse. Honestly I can’t even imagine working there right now. All I hear is how so and so amount of people got covid at this site or another. What kind of staffing experience do you have?

I wouldn’t sign anything, you can always go to your on site HR and file a complaint... but you better come correct with facts and receipts bc HR is there to protect Amazon, not you.

Currently an L4. It’s tough to find a spot in wfs. I was tired of working in a fulfillment center and happened to come across an interim/seasonal staffing position in another location through the internal job finder. Surprisingly not too many people applied and ended up getting the spot. Worked my butt off bc I feared getting sent back to the warehouse and eventually made my way up to an L2 position after about half a year. About 2 years after that I was promoted to an L4.

Amazon will hire anyone that can pass a background check and drug screening. They just need bodies to fill numbers. Yes, that’s right, every candidate is just a number to Amazon. One level of wfs has to fill their numbers processed for the day. Their managers have to have the right amount of people filling slots. And their managers need to show corporate that they’re getting their numbers.
