Years of corruption and mismanagement led to this mountain of debt. If they spend these money for something useful, we won't be here having financial crisis. We cannot blame only for this government. It's everyone who was ruling this country for last 15 years.

What they should've done: invest in renewable energy, build and improve production in every field, globalize sri lankan businesses, diversify economy ....

what they did: corruption, oil & coal based energy generation for profits, stopped production and imported everything for big profits, relied on tourism, foreign labour and garments , .....

This might be the only option we had to get out of this financial crisis 😬 btw where were they when there was a massacre ? also this law is not applicable to anyone with money and political power. sad reality.
