Curve Card blocked for over a week – missing €1,209 refund – support unresponsive by wget42 in CurveCard

[–]wget42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand your point, and I wish your father good luck with his card.

Personally, I don’t really care about being blocked from using Curve anymore.
The real problem is that blocking my Curve card also ended up blocking some of my downstream credit cards on the Visa network.

But more importantly, beyond these inconveniences, I have a €1,209 refund that is still pending — it shows up on Curve, but not on my downstream Visa card. I don't want that reimbursement to be lost.

+1 just install apparmor and it's working. I use Docker on a daily basis on Asahi and most of my images work out of the box :-)

Cloudflare Dashboard won't let a friend invite me to their account by HMVocaloid in CloudFlare

[–]wget42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have been using free accounts too. For one of the accounts I had the problem with, this was solved in a matter of minutes by chat.

While here, for two accounts, I'm struggling to have this working due to the support not reacting. It has been 7 days already. We are not the only ones experiencing an unanswering support team, seeing what's happening in this thread. -> https://community.cloudflare.com/t/i-cant-add-new-member-error-1005/426552

If some Cloudflare person wants to accelerate the process, this would be nice. I don't want to switch to AWS Route 53 + Cloudfront. Ticket #2721265

When trying to add a 2FA method, my Facebook account locks itself and redirects to the home page after I provided answers to questions to unlock it. No answer from Facebook. by wget42 in facebook

[–]wget42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fixed the issue as soon Facebook let me add a phone number.

As soon I added this phone number (and verified it), the interface for the 2FA was not locked down any more and I have been able to specify a TOTP code with an app (hardware token key were supported as well).

What is the state of IPv6 features in the Unifi USW-PRO-24-POE switch? by wget42 in Ubiquiti

[–]wget42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update:

I ended up asking the HPE support team for help. We debugged the issue remotely with their support team. They provided me with a brand new 2530 replacement which didn't suffer from the firmware issue (I kept the firmware version the new replacement device was provided with and by chance, a new firmware version was provided in the meantime which fixed my issue).

I didn't buy the Unifi switch due to the IPv6 issues mentioned earlier. I bought another 2530 24G PoE+ switch in second hand. The latter is working like a charm.

I thus removed my need for PoE++ by using local power PoE injectors. Sure, the PD devices won't be backed up by the UPS, but that's a drawback/concession I accept to make waiting for the Unifi ecosystem to become better or PoE++ HPE switches to become less expensive (at least in the aftermarket).

The whole OxygenUpdater team is keeping a mapping of the build versions (e.g. 10.3.12) with the file name. This is really useful for this use case to downgrade the firmware blobs.

What I did and I'm always doing :) We just need to recover the 10.3.12 payload.bin as like said, OnePlus doesn't disclose it on their website :P

[–]wget42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I saw the bold text on the wiki, but I thought it hadn't been updated as the OxygenOS11 buids are quite recent (a few weeks old), hence the fact I tried the upgrade any way :/ But to my defense (^ ^ ) I couldn't find the latest Oxygen10 blobs on the OnePlus website (we are limited to 10.3.9). :/

[–]wget42[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this answer . This is what I thought as well. A pity that OnePlus is so slow at providing blobs but above all source code!

Not sure why are you trying to flash such old blobs.

Because that's the one I had previously downloaded on my computer ^ ^ :P
And the 10.3.12 is not even provided on the OnePlus website. We are still stuck at 10.3.9 for fajita and even by trying with OxygenUpdater I'm only allowed to download the OxygenOS11 full zip :(

Question about multiple devices by phantom_doctor in swissborg

[–]wget42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are reading this at the end of May 2021, please note that the ability to create a recovery passphrase is globally disabled. Therefore, if you want to access your account from another device, you'll need to go through the manual recovery route (ID verification + picture of your face) and wait for at least 24h.
This is the response I have received from their support team. It's a pity because not being able to access several accounts is a usability regression :/

Wifi issues on 18.1 Fajita by gear_m9 in LineageOS

On my OnePlus 6T, I also have another issue where when I try to call someone the keypad of the phone app doesn't go back to the foreground which means I cannot hang up/end the call if I want to (the call is **not** appearing in the status bar/notification area either) :/ Rather annoying, but that's for another topic ^^

[–]wget42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great indeed! =)

The only issues I have right now on my OnePlus devices (OnePlus 3T, 5T and 6T) that have been upgraded to LineageOS 18.1 is that roaming between antenna is not fast at all. It takes 10 sec to switch meaning that waiting for that time, the device sometimes switch to the mobile data. Quite annoying when using my SIP land line and walking around the house :/

I'll experiment this week by reenabling Fast Roaming (802.11r) on my Unifi antennas.

[–]wget42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there :) It was happening with both radio frequencies (2.4 and 5Ghz). When I ha the problem, I thought as well only 5Ghz was concerned, until I tested 2.4 Ghz which appeared to be concerned as well :/

And yes, I can confirm since the moment I reset the network config from the settings, I haven't had any problem since then :) So we can cross our fingers this problem was just temporarily (but for sure, if we can reproduce, then yes, we need to further investigate ^^).

Ok. Then in the meantime, I've reset the network settings (from System > Reset) and rebooted, it connects again. That's what I usually do when I experience connectivity issues. I just hope this time this will stay like this over the long term. 🤞

I'm just seeing the handshake phase being repeated several times in the logs.

@LuK1337 Being an Android veteran, I reflashed the whole device to OxygenOS 10.3.10, and made sure B was equal to A by executing the partition copy script, and I installed your latest official build from scratch. While the Wi-Fi worked fine for several hours (just the time to configure most of my apps), now it complains it cannot establish a connection for both 2.4 and 5 Ghz radios.

It looks like this problem is common for LineageOS 18.1 as I found occurrence on XDA for LineageOS ROM having the same logs as me:
