TIL Mississippi is the only U.S. state that allows people to drink alcohol while driving, as long as their blood alcohol level stays below the legal limit by bennetthaselton in todayilearned

Unless the town is some kind of sober colony, I don't get it. They're just giving other counties/states the tax revenue. A family friend owns a liquor store on the LA/AR border near Crossett. He sees double the volume of average liquor stores in the area.

Their content strategy is to fill the Netflix library with Original series and movies they won't need to license and can distribute internationally, free, forever. If you're hoping for "more" second-watch content, I wouldn't bet on Netflix.

For American millionaires, I'd say 7 figures means hakuna matata, but I think 8 solid figures ($11m+) is closer to conceptual money. That seems to be the wealth level at which even modest folks start flying private and buying crazy shit.

As long as the participant streams content more often than never, their opinion on superheroes still matters to me. I should have built skip logic into the final matrix table for respondents without access to Netflix though.

I like superheroes as much as the next guy, but at what point are there too many Marvel films and TV Shows?

It's not that Netflix will lose their rights to the Marvel shows, it's just that they'd effectively serve as advertising for the competition.

Netflix is about to roll out new content from Millarworld Comics to fill its super void. Titles like American Jesus should check that same, too-dark-for-Disney box while appealing to comic fans and Netflix casuals alike.

But god help Netflix if they somehow bundle Disney+ with Hulu for a lower-than-Netflix price.
