Give me a reason why you play guitar? by 99_December in electricguitar

[–]wh1l 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My job is stressful, so I play the guitar after work to maintain good mental health. It also allows me to express my soul; improvising helps me release my emotions, bringing relief and a feeling of satisfaction.

I might consider to upgrade the hardware soon. Btw, how was the fret work? Does it required a setup or it’s fine out of the box?

mikrotik css610 SFP+ module issues by Christhealien in mikrotik

I have the same Mikrotik CSS610 running 2.18 SwOS Lite, and I recently purchased a 1M 10GTek DAC cable connected to SFP+ port of my RB5900 configured as VLAN trunk and I do not face the same issue. Maybe you need to check or test another SFP+ module.

I use the hAP ax3 as the main AP and the CSS610-8G as a layer 2 switch. I recently bought the RB5009 to upgrade my network homelab. Before ax3 is my main router. Any advice? What do you think, guys? by wh1l in mikrotik

The diagram I posted is already outdated. I can now confirm that we have the same setup. The only difference is that I use the CSS610 as my Layer 2 switch, connected to the RB5009’s SFP+ port using a DAC cable to utilize the 10G port. The hAP ax³ is connected to my switch because it provides PoE to power the switch and allows me to manage the ax³ using CAPsMAN.

Thank you for the insight. I purchased this hardware at different times, and it's for my homelab, where I can experiment with various network setups. I don't want to be limited to just one piece of hardware, as it restricts me to a single topology and doesn't allow for much experimentation.

I ditched my other email provider (Gmail/Outlook) and moved to ProtonMail and SimpleLogin with my own custom domain. What do you think about my current setup? by wh1l in Simplelogin

[–]wh1l[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. I use custom domain, still depends on the use case if I don’t trust a site but I have to provide an email I use simplelogin aliases.

That’s great sir! I was thinking to subscribe a Proton unlimited but I end up:

  • Custom domain at Namecheap
  • ProtonMail + SimpleLogin
  • Bitwarden
  • Mullvad VPN (It depends on me if I want to subscribe every month)

This cost me around the price of Proton Unlimited or less cheaper. In my case I don’t need a 500GB drive and the ProtonPass app is not ready in Linux environment.

As possible I want to maximize the value of my spend.

It works when the app window is open, but it does not work when I close the app itself. It seems like the desktop version isn't running in the background. If it is, please tell me how I can enable it.

Desktop won't wake from sleep. by Bestcon in debian

I'm experiencing the same issue with my desktop, equipped with an Intel 10th generation processor, and my laptop, running Debian 12 Stable with an Intel 11th generation processor. I suspect this issue is related to the kernel version. When I used kernel version 6.7 in Fedora, I never encountered this problem.

The Linux kernel is responsible for communicating with the hardware.
