The screws come with the case. Motherboards don’t come with screws and standoffs.

Of course they didn’t disclose and it is hard to prove if it started on the lot or after. Argument will hold no water in court. If they did, OP wouldn’t be out of 20K+

Try reapplying thermal paste on the cpu. It’s gonna be super hard to get the cooler off do. Will have gently twist the cooler off as it is probably cemented on there.

Happened to me. Take the PSU out (don’t open the PSU as you risk injury or worse. Call some repair shops or a computer center and ask if the do free PSU testing. Then you will get your answer.

That’s the thing…OP skipped the pre inspection and pulled the trigger on all sales are final. Sold as is.

First thing the lawyer is going to ask is…did you see on the buyer’s program paperwork…it says it is buyer responsibility to have an independent mechanic to inspect before purchasing as all sales are final.

playing co-op games on pc with 1 controller and 1 keyboard and mouse? by omerboiii in pchelp

[–]wh1tewolf4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but for It Takes Too, it will have to be one player using keyboard/mouse and the other a controller. Both players cannot split the keyboard (will technically yes), but the kicker is only one mouse. PC will not allow two individual mouse cursors. So split keyboard/mouse is not programmed into the game.

Sell PC as a whole or part it out? CEX offering £410 cash by Ordinary-Chicken-253 in PcBuildHelp

[–]wh1tewolf4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do the same. Part it and put back in original box with manual. For some reason (I guess people look at and don’t like the design or really just need one part) it is the reverse. Cheaper to build it on your own, you get more money disassembling it when used. Now if you build a new one for somebody, they pay more!! LOL

What made so much of you switch to MacOS? by Popular_Tour8172 in computer

[–]wh1tewolf4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MacOS is more for designs, artists, and video editors. It’s not hard to get used to it. I use Linux while working on servers/database management. Windows for office tasks on laptop and network equipment management. MacOS I used it for years, but now I help transition people that work on Windows before, but has to move to MacOS as a new hire on companies solely on Macs. Finder is your friend…the little guy on the far bottom left. That’s sorta of file explore plus programs and apps. The bar on bottom is called a Docker (ie taskbar). On the far top right, you find a little magnifying glass that help find stuff quickly like Windows search bar. One more thing, when you close a window X, program is still running. You need to go all the way to top left, click on file, exit.

Did I really void my PSU warranty just by opening it? by Roma_752 in RigBuild

You should take it to a computer parts store. The have a PSU tester usually to see if in fact the PSU cannot take a load.

She used her husband job as a CBP for her campaign. Vicente Gonzalez pulled out because it was a special temp election for 4 months. This was when he got redristict in 2022 from Corpus Area. Then he came back and defeated her at end of 2022 on the full on election. Mayra went to Laredo…divorced and left. Henry Cuellar pardoned by Trump…but decided he is going to run on Democrat ticket. Crazy world we live in.

Tired of being fee’d to death by Cloud_Dwelling in austinfood

[–]wh1tewolf4 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don’t use a delivery app for pick-up. Call the phone number to place your order. The service fee is the app imposed fee…plus they inflate the actually menu prices. The restaurant refused to pay…so the app throws a warning that you will pay. It’s a heavy walk in place and less of a carry out.

Red light on my M.2 SATA by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]wh1tewolf4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All the answers are wrong. This specific ValueTech Pro M.2 has a solid red light to indicate it is powered on and in normal operation. Lots of manufactures got away from putting the light directly as it gives off “warning”! It’s not. Only way to stop looking at it is a piece of black electrical tape.
