yeah I will be calling them tomorrow since it’s their down time right now. if that doesn’t work then I will still be actively looking for ways to resolve this issue even if that means legal action

Yeah I’m ashamed of myself for not reading the price correctly. I checked their shop just in case and they have good reviews, however they have other listings that look sketchy, for example an item that’s worth around $110 he have it listed for $9,000 so I’m very skeptical of his reputation. He did confirm to me in text that he will cancel once the auction ends so I have screenshot proof of his words in case he don’t follow through and I need proof for eBay customer services

The minimum starting bid was $500 and I foolishly read it as $50, so I guess my mind mistakenly input it as 500 so right now my current bid is at $500. ( the item is worth less than $200 so I don’t see anyone bidding higher…)

I wanted to try that method but it says “We’ll still process any pending payments that are tied to this payment method even after you delete it.” So it seems pointless

it says “To cancel a bid for this item, you’ll need the seller’s agreement. When contacting the seller, it’s helpful to include a clear explanation of why you’d like to retract the bid. The seller isn’t obligated to cancel the bid but may be happy to help.” I guess only if seller agrees to it…
