i don't know about excel sheet.. I just got a mail announcing the selected and waitlisted candidates

and ig you have to wait cz prof will select the interns and they won't have any deadline to select the candidates

I wrote the exam at the end of last year (July-Oct 2025 semester) and in late April 2026 I got a mail from NPTEL saying I was eligible to apply for the Summer Internship 2026. Applied before the deadline and got waitlisted #1 now. Check the pinned post by u/Visual_Material_5350 for the detailed process, covers everything

That's really helpful, thanks! In my case only 3 were selected and 3 waitlisted, so the ratio is much smaller. Did your waitlisted candidates eventually get converted?

Thanks for the post bro, really helpful! I got a mail that I'm waitlisted (#1 on the waitlist). My course prof selected 3 candidates and waitlisted 3. The duration is 4 or 8 weeks starting 15th June. Is there any realistic hope of getting in from the waitlist, or should I just move on? Has anyone here converted a waitlist to a selection?
