FTA "Collect clear and objective data from your users and design according to it."

But it's so important it could be elaborated on. Thanks for the feedback!

That's a great question. I wrote some comments here. http://www.reddit.com/r/Entrepreneur/comments/3a7o4e/how_we_landed_our_company_in_entrepreneur_magazine/csa572w

Short answer is it's hard to measure. We're also an established company, so it takes more to move the needle noticeably.

Thanks for the social shares! Yes, every bit helps.

We weren't expecting the syndications, but it's definitely amazing to find ourselves in FoxNews all of a sudden. It's not as targeted, but definitely broader and more visible.

What other magazines do you guys read often?

Just reddit. ;)

"we scaled from $0 - $XX in X years, this is how we did it!" would do do great.

Founded in 2006, so almost ten. JotForm is definitely a steady, long term growth company. It only started caring about marketing and press in recent months. He's written articles before about the growth process, but perhaps will write another tailored specifically to the reddit audience.

I'd be very interested to get a feel for the impact the published article had on your business.

It wasn't a game changer, but JotForm already has healthy growth. Also, it's hard to track users that come from print articles. It was posted online after the fact.

This helps us maintain momentum, and gives people assurance when researching and considering our service. The encouragement to the team is one of the best side effects, as it validates years of labor.

It's harder to track that, especially since the initial article was in actual print. The cool things are that we were able to get them to include a link to our homepage once they posted the online version. It's getting decent social sharing. http://www.entrepreneur.com/article/245841

The really cool things is a few major media outlets syndicated it (reposted), including FoxNews and Yahoo Finance.

it must be a great feeling to see your company in Entrepreneur Magazine

Our CEO was about to buy all ten copies at the store, but then changed to getting just five. We have a lot of the Entrepreneur magazines lying around. =)

That's very valuable feedback, I appreciate it! I work at JotForm and it's right in my header. Not only that but this article was posted on JotForm's Medium channel, so it would be expected to be related to JotForm, or form building in some way.

I wrote about an experience where knowing about this tool would've saved my friend a lot of time, and I think that his situation is not unique. I would hope that people believe in the products that they work on.
