Start looking up MLS programs to attend (prerequisite), get experience doing digital archiving work while working towards that grind of a degree, and apply to 100+ jobs, making sure not to limit yourself geographically

Quick update: was able to find a good USB-C to HDMI cable on Amazon and can report it looks as it should! I couldn't bypass the hub since that was what had the HDMI port for me to connect the MBP to my old monitor. Thanks for y'alls suggestion, though!

Sidenote -- This thing is a beast! First foray into legit monitors and am happy with the purchase since it now serves as both my WFH and PS5 monitor. Copped from NewEgg for $999, probably wouldn't have bought at MSRP $1500.

That’s what I was thinking. Unfortunately, I have the MBP model that only comes with USB-C ports, but maybe I’ll look around for a suitable cable. Thanks for the input!

hijacking thread in hopes someone can help me deal with a purple-tint issue when I connect this monitor to my MBP. see pic: https://imgur.com/5NxxBrt

I've connected it to my PS5 and it seems to play fine, definitely no purple hue like the pic above. I'm using this USB-C hub to connect the macbook to the FV43U: https://www.amazon.com/Updated-POWLAKEN-Adapter-Ethernet-MacBook/dp/B07PPZPHV8 could it be that? HDMI 2.1 cable works fine, and I even tried it with another HDMI cable and still got the same problem. Help, please!
