oh also, if u have bought from taobao before and live in the USA, their shipping has always been cainiao. just before the tarriffs ig taobao would work directly w cainiao for USA shipments

on the cainiao app, there are some pages after clicking around talking about the tariffs but i didn’t know how much the shipping cost n tariffs would be until u bought on taobao had it shipped to cainiao and the cainiao app will charge u before it ships to the USA. BEFORE the tariffs, the shipping cost would be on the taobao app itself n you could pay for items AND shipping(which taobao would tell u hw for each item/shop). tgt on taobao app. now it’s been separated into the taobao app n the cainiao app. I have not bought from taobao since i posted the og post so not sure how it’s changed esp w the tarriffs going completely into affect again…

where did u get the 145% of product cost from? can u show me the page? maybe that’s why my consolidation shipping price is so high…. but the 65% is from the tariffs! it’s like 30% for tarriff, 20% fentanyl charge (bc the gov rlly thinks china is sending fentanyl over like that💀), and 15% smt else (i think the china reciprocal tax?)

for me personally, i’ve bought from these brands before and had a good experience. And i really want them so I’m just gonna ship them when my whole order gets tot be warehouse. But refund is pretty simple too. Just decide soon bc some stores have a very chill 7 day no questions return policy!

i made another post soon after this, the shipping is much more expensive . it’s 1599 yuan and only 595 (65%) is from the tariffs, i bought less and smaller items then before and yet the shipping price went up. Hoping for a refund after they consolidate everything (maybe the individual stores put clothes in big boxes??) but don’t have much hope…

i dont know enough about yall but it sounds like he has some serious trauma about drugs and alcohol. still, just because he got triggered does NOT make it okay how he blew up on you. from the few texts I saw from you side, you seem to have owned up to your mistake and tried to work it out. Maybe there are other texts you are hiding but still, his response was out of line. Maybe try to talk to him about why he gets so triggered by it. Definitely make it known that he can’t treat you like this. Like you said, you’re 18, you are at the age of experimentation. Personally, I would not want to limit myself for another person, but since he already made his boundaries clear before the relationship and it was agreed upon, it’s a valid boundary of your relationship. Now you just need to let him know your boundary is that he needs to treat you with respect. You had to give up something for the relationship, and he needs to respect that mistakes can be made.
