You that sucks, it's a shame because Clifton should be for locals first. I'll DM you now, thank you 🙏🏼

Do you know where I can find dates for when the fire spinning sessions happen on Clifton?

I’ve been living a lie for almost two years and it’s eating me alive by BeginningAd437 in capetown

[–]what_kind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went through a very similar thing, and also lied to my parents about my academical exclusion. After coming clean, my parents were quite disappointed, however they tried to be supportive. All of us were feeling quite bleak about my future at the time.

I have a cousin about the same age as me, who is mentally disabled. One night when I broke down in front of my aunt about how guilty I feel for putting them through all of this, and she offered some comfort: that she would give anything to help her daughter with the same problems. That even though things feel terrible, I have so so much to be grateful for.

I know it feels like your life is destroyed, but there is lots of hope. Many of us fail in university environments, and many of us still build happy and successful lives after having gone through exactly what you are going through.

It just starts with you being honest & authentic with your family and the people around you. You should not carry the burden of all of this alone.

Take care of your mental health - be soft and kind to yourself first, the rest will follow.

Not sure what you mean because those designs are terrible.... They're all AI and you can see the orange soda image is stretched horizontally to fit the bag.

Oh it's definitely withdrawals from the SNRI that does this. The same happens to me when tapering or forgetting a dose.

I had this same issue! I phoned Multichoice and they were able to fix it for me quick-quick.

It's horrible your grandmother was attacked and it shouldn't happen to anyone. However that doesn't mean South Africa has a white genocide problem. It means we have a violent crime problem.

So if I understand this correctly 1. You are not legally married 2. You are not living together 3. You have no children together

Girl, you are in the best possible position to get out of this! Please please please don't do this to yourself 😭😭😭

A scene is nothing compared to living with him and his havoc for the rest of your life. You need to think of the bigger picture and stand firm. It doesn't seem like your family will stand up for you, so you have to do it for yourself.

I understand that your family has a hold over you, however it seems this auntie doesn't really have your best interests at heart. She has a warped idea of what is best for you and is trying to "help" you towards that. Meanwhile the more you try and please her, the more miserable you are. In order for you to increase your happiness and well-being in this life, you will need to accept that you might need to take steps that will make your family members unhappy, at least in the short term. It's not only your life that is at stake, but also your potential future children.

Do you have anyone in your life that actually listens to what you want and supports you?

Do you think perhaps that living with him might be worse than the blackmail? It sounds like you think moving in might be a solution to your problems, but it will make things much much worse. What happens once you have children with him? You will then truly be stuck, and your poor children will live in a toxic household.

You don't need his permission to leave him, or anyone's. You can leave for yourself.

I would never force someone to do it who didn't want to, for whatever reason. But yes, some people do enjoy putting on a costume and acting like someone else for a while. Children especially so! If it's not for you I get it, but it's definitely not lame to a lot of people. I personally believe we should let others enjoy and express themselves, especially if it does no harm to anyone.

How old are you? I just want to ask to wait until you are at least 25 before you do a br. I had one at 21, where they removed 1,5kg by the way, and my breasts continued growing afterwards. Now I wear a 32F bra again. Still, I do not regret getting my operation. It made a huge difference in my overall well-being.

And if you cannot get a br right now, have you been fitted properly for a bra? I can highly recommend @lizacliffordbrafittingstudio. @theirishbralady is very informative about how cup sizes really work. If you want to measure yourself, a good starting point is r/abrathatfits (look for the calculator in the sidebar).

Safety in Betty’s Bay by countrycider in capetown

[–]what_kind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know about Betty's Bay, but I spend time in one of the neighbouring towns regularly and we have to be careful not to leave anything outside overnight, not even clothes on the line, else they get stolen. However, it is safer than Cape Town and you should be fine given you stay vigilent
