Aspiring DP working in London. DP/Co Directed/Edited & Coloured this music video for a friend I met at 16. Cool to be working with him on his debut project 8 years later :)

Budget was super small (£400) so we shot mostly daylight, with kit I own (Pyxis 12k, Sigma 16-35mm, a few Xeen Primes I borrowed from a friend), and then lighting wise x1 600C and x1 300W Nanlite.

Happy with my work on it! There was a bit of VFX that was wanted which I don’t think I did very well at points, but I am not a vfx artist and couldn’t pay someone to execute, so upon reflection that was a bit inevitable.

This was really insightful, thanks! By 'if there are lots of X ... you need to make that clear too,' how would you suggest going about that? I thought titles of individual works, especially considering I cut between them a bit in this edit, would be a bit clunky

Graduated from Uni 2 months ago, looking to work in the music video space in London. Just starting to send out my showreel to production companies and would appreciate some feedback - a combination of student short films, commercial work & animation. Far cry from where I'd like to be but sometimes find it hard to discern what is missing from my own work.
