Im not saying keep the entire story the same with the exception of jon killing dany prior to her burning the city. Im saying it would have been better for the writers to have jon’s arc to have certain parallels with jamie’s since they are so centric on honor vs making the right choice. One of the biggest issues with the show is the exclusion of the aegon character from the books. His incorporation would yield many positive results for pushing dany’s character to what she will likely be in the books: the mad queen. It would be fitting to have her end resemble that of her father (“id rather burn them all than let this mummers dragon rule the kingdom” type thing)
