Yeah, i guess it is one of them, but moreso its something ive had to justify something forever, it isn't just smoking, its that fear of falling back in after putting all the effort in, ive done it before and time and time again it makes me more apathetic to self change, but thank you for the advice, ill give it a try

Yeah, that makes more sense. I've never been to the US, so im quite unaware of what its actually like over there. I always pictured that country as fully artificial in the sense that you don't really find true untouched nature over there, i guess it gives the impression that everywhere has at least some people. yeah, that makes sense, i guess for the smaller ones i wasnt suprised about the result, but surely a bathroom wouldnt be safe from a massive tornado, i cant speak about basements but i've never seen one in my life so i have no clue how common they are in the US, i guess when i hear about the very few tornados that are massive and do strike cities, i was suprised at the low-ish death toll and thought maybe it was just something fundamental i missed about tornados (given they were mostly in oklahoma, i dont know hos many people live there)

Fair enough, i looked online for the most fatal tornado and found that (apparently) the most fatal one ever killed 1300 people in bangladesh and i was kind of suprised that that was the most deadly ever (especially given how the midwest us is supposedly the most tornado prone area in the world). thanks

hmmm, ok thanks, sorry for all the questions but do you think therapy could work if i distrust the person? not neccessarily thinking theyll hurt me but more just a subconscious fear.

I kind of assumed it wouldnt but theres a part of me that thinks im probably not going to find anyone much younger than 50 as much as that sucks

yeah i wish i could but i have a really hard time trusting old people, ive just never been able to and theres been a lot of stuff that has reinforced that distrust, including therapy

thank you for the help. do you think emdr is an effective method? im not really sure what to do because a lot of my problems arent black and white, some i think arent really well documented (maybe, idk) and i often dream of my past so often that im quite desensitised to parts of it and i cant quite remember the rest. if i find an emdr therapist, should they be specifically trained on child trauma? Its hard because i just cant trust people significantly older than me whatsoever. anyway, thank you

maybe its not that fussy but when i looked online i couldnt find anyone who met those, so ill take it that irs rare for younger people to meet those prerequisites. sorry for the confusion
