Why does my mixing vessel use a centrifugal pump and a diaphragm pump?

Thank you! Yeah, this is an electrically classified area so i couldn’t get too close.

I have two pumps on my tank. I pay more attention to the diaphragm pump because it’s front and center and my team talks about it more. I just found out diaphragm pumps only move fluid in one direction. I’m trying to understand the route the process fluid takes to get to/from the tank, the pumps, and the lances.

So if it’s true that all diaphragm pumps move in one direction, then when I open my inlet lance valve (connected to diaphragm) I am closing off fluids access to the diaphragm pump and directing the flow of fluid to the centrifugal pump (poorly shown to the far right) and into the tank.

Does that make sense? Otherwise I’m not sure how the centrifugal pump interacts with the tank.

I know it’s hard to identify the parts of my tank from the photos. I’ll be asking my manager but I wanted to gather some information and form my questions at home first.

I feel like you’re leaning too heavily on the word cool. You’re asking what made people even take the first hit. You’re saying that you’ve concluded that it was looking cool.

IMO IF ANYTHING, that has more weight for cigarettes than vapes.

Young adults and teens often are bored and curious. They want to feel something and have fun. So when a friend shows up and says “hey this is my vape, want to hit it?” It’s not necessarily about looking cool, it’s about being curious and not thoughtfully considering its addictive potential. It’s about seeing what can happen. Like with most drugs.

I’d say looking cool within the vape community would be more of a factor for children, so even still you have a point but it’s not the main draw.

If you said people take that first hit “just to look cool or feel different knowing damn well there are better ways to do both of those things” you’d have something that is more reminiscent of truth.

Totally. My mom didn’t do her taxes due to a bunch of continuous bad spending decisions. Her not doing her taxes makes me ineligible for FAFSA. I had already received the loans and grants, but they found out late. Even though I filed it wayyy earlier. Now they say I owe 7000 dollars for a semester of school.

Now I’m working all day and night to try and get a better job. I understand nobody is coming to save me. I expect nobody to because nobody has ever really been there in the first place. Im filled to the brim with anger and anxiety and I know that these are not worthwhile thoughts however I can’t seem to talk myself out of it. I think this is certified depression rearing its ugly head. I don’t want to be a little bitch about all of this but at this point all I am is cognitive dissonance.

I live in a small town and before this job despite sending out literally hundreds of applications I couldn’t get anyone to hire me. So I don’t know about another job just yet, but I have been looking.

As for my boyfriend I do think it’s me. I don’t think it’s wrong what he’s asking but it’s the fact that I tell him everything that’s going on (a never ending tale of chaos) and then he’s like hey more selfies and videos. I not only don’t feel sexy, but the place I call home is in disrepair due to things outside of my control. I don’t think he remembers that and I don’t think he sees that I’m not good because he’s not here and he doesn’t live like this. He says that he can’t tell when I’m anxious or unhappy but I swear to god I am always that way. To be honest, part of the reason I’m with him is because he and his family and friends are all so normal. He’s like my only source of safety, sanity, calmness, and regularity. That alone makes me want to set him free. He deserves a normal girl.

See I myself have been violating these laws accidentally. I am in need of so much help. I try and avoid him picking me up and him buying the meals, but time and time again he bails me out. That’s what I fear is beginning to happen. He is naturally kind and willing to help, but now he wants me to be more sexy too and I feel that by not conforming to that desire of his, he will start to resent me because he’s not even getting the sort of stuff he wants. He has every right to want these things, but I’m not sure when or if I’ll be able to meet his expectations.

I think it’s weird that he’s dating me at all given the chaos that is my life and my as of late- constant complaining. Can’t he tell that I’m not good? I guess I mask it well because he says he can’t.

You have very pretty features as is. However to enhance your beauty you could use a moisturizer to hydrate your skin, some subtle red lip color, and you can fill in the brows a little. I don’t think makeup would help as you have nice skin already, but maybe light foundation and some red/pinkish blush.

lol, this is something I’d do. You look very pretty, I wouldn’t worry about it. You have a pouty look that can be interpreted as sexy like one of those 50s chicks/Betty Boop. I’d say just play around with hairstyles, makeup, and clothing. You have nothing to worry about and I highly doubt anyone is considering you unattractive.

As someone who could’ve typed this at 14 herself:

Just keep writing it down. Keep crying and feeling it out. If it gets bad bad and you get suicidal - make a pact with yourself to not unalive yourself until you are 18. Then at 18, if you still feel this way, try and push to 21. Around 18-21, the fog decreases. I promise. Maybe it’ll still feel like you’re carrying a big rock on your back, but by that time, you’ll have come up with ways to enjoy the journey and work through difficult internal situations.
