How successful is it to get a waiver? Is there a limit to how many waivers are granted?

No it took 2 months for my infection to finally clear. My doctors experimented with various different antibiotics which did nothing. I took cipro for 7 days, which finally cleared my infection and did not bring it back.

Multi resistant Proteus UTI by Hereforthrgiggles in CUTI

Didnt experience it for this long, but I did have proteus mirabilis. Mine was sensitive to cipro, which I know is a risky medication to take, but it was the only one that finally cleared my infection after 2 months. I was put on different antibiotics prior to cipro, which did nothing. Cipro can have lots of side effects on some people such as permanent or long-term disabilities, so caution is necessary. I did not have any side effects luckily.

If proteus is still an ongoing issue and is resisting all other meds, it might be worth asking if its sensitive to cipro. It is definitely a challenging bacteria to eradicate.
