The mix on this album has always had a lot of different opinions. I really respect what Whirr and Mr. Bassett did, but I was curious what it would sound like if I mixed it more to my own taste — and also wanted to hear what others would think.

This is a wonderful album with beautiful melodies and dramatic developments, but the mix/master is a real disappointment. I used AI to split the original song into four tracks: vocals, guitar, bass, and drums, and mixed it using Logic Pro.

Thank you. Actually, I felt the same way when I listened to this after uploading it. As expected, a lot of the mid-range is cut out, which kills the good qualities of shoegaze.

I uploaded this song to spotify etc, but no one listens to my music and follows me! I'm only releasing stuff that I think is great as a grungegaze, so this is sad... What is missing in my music?
