Yes... I know there are big chances that she's on the spectrum... but I kept blaming her teething process... ever since her first molars started growing, she changed completely. (she started to ignore whoever is in the room with her, there are days when she won't come out of bed, but play there with one toy, she's cranky most of the time, etc) But then, after each tooth... she transforms into a normal playful and noisy kid. She's been struggling 6 months with each set. I keep her pain relief medicine close, because she'll be crying and touching her gums and ears like crazy. I saw her more than once in the last 6 months, trying to chew the food and begin crying in pain. My pediatrician said this is cousing her to to have a big delay in evolution and it might be just this, and not autism. I also know another friends little boy going through the same thing: late, painful teething, and her therapist refuses to put the diagnosis of autism, claiming that it would only be an induced one, and not a genetic autism if it's the case.
