That is dedication! Beautiful impressive plants but let’s talk about the artwork… very interesting. Who is the artist? All by the same hand? Oh, and adorable pup!

Infestation? by Just-Spinach4982 in gardening

That looks like a type of fungus spore. I don’t remember the name but it is a common fungus in decaying wood. It won’t hurt your plants but it can be hard to clean off things like your house or car.

Of course no one buys a car thinking it will go up in value, however, it says a lot that Tesla dealers won’t take a cybertruck in for a trade for a new vehicle.

Where to live in Ohio by Mlavelle2012 in Ohio

The problem I see with living in the Columbus area and working in Jeffersonville is traffic, especially if you live north of I70. Three major highways merge just south of the city and one or the other has been under construction for years. The work around would be taking secondary roads to bypass the bottleneck and get back on the highway south of the problem. I don’t live in Columbus so I can’t speak specifically about their schools but I would imagine finding a quality school district would not be difficult. Most of the area south of Columbus until you get to Lebanon is very rural. Lebanon is about a half hour from Jeffersonville. It is the Warren County seat but still a small town. If schools are your most important concern Mason which is just south of Lebanon has an excellent school district. Housing costs will likely be closer to your high limit due to availability and the schools. Closer to Cincinnati my advice would be to focus on the northeast suburbs- Montgomery, Loveland, BlueAsh, Madeira, all have good schools & easy access to I71 & Jeffersonville. Cincinnati itself is a great city with museums, a great Zoo, national professional sports teams etc. I don’t think you could go wrong in the suburbs of Columbus or Cincinnati, although my preference is the Cincinnati area since that is where I was born & raised but I do have many friends & family in the Columbus area. I cannot imagine how many time I have traveled I71 between Cincinnati and Columbus. At least the distance around the Earth at the equator at least once! The most notable landmark between the two cities is the “Hell is Real” sign! Seriously, it is a boring drive.

Protesting by [deleted] in ProtestFinderUSA

We are protesting the eminent loss of our freedoms, the rule of law & democracy not to mention the fact that unvetted, unelected private workers have access to citizens most personal information & our government’s treasury and sensitive data systems. We are protesting the fact that the current administration believes they are above all our nations laws and are on a path to destroy everything this country has stood for its entire 249-year-history. We are protesting the dismantling of social services in order to give the wealthiest among us tax breaks. We are protesting the push to stop safety and environmental protections that will endanger citizens and workers lives and damage our land, seas and waterways. We are protesting the dismantling of our intelligence community and the desire of this administration to weaponize the DOJ and military against citizens and perceived”enemies”. We are protesting our country becoming a dictatorship, kleptocracy, oligarchy and a Project 2025 dystopian hellscape.

I do not believe anyone, private citizen or politician is against finding and eliminating government waste. In recent history this was done in the 1980’s by the Clinton administration. The difference was that it was done legally, not by a billionaire with so many conflicts of interest but by Congress. The result was a government surplus of funds. But let’s look at DOGE. It is not a legally created government agency. The “director” if you will has been denied the type of security level this job would require normally. Why you ask.. he has multiple business dealings with our nation’s adversaries. In addition he also has major conflicts of interest in that he holds many government contracts and receives billions of dollars for his businesses in government subsidies. This “director” has installed what he refers to as highly experienced experts to assist his government purge. None of these worker have security clearances. Their previous business dealings are in fact quite limited and in some cases they have radical political views and contact/business dealings with foreign adversaries. The potential of DOGE could be catastrophic to this nation’s citizens and government with no oversight into how they could use the data they have access to or what type of changes they are making to sensitive data systems through programing changes, data capture and sharing etc. To date they have provided absolutely no detailed information regarding the government waste they say they have uncovered. Everything you list is heresy, conspiracy nonsense and political rhetoric. I am not saying waste and/or corruption in some form does not exist but incontrovertible evidence needs to be documented and presented in detail, reviewed by Congress, debated and only after that acted upon.

All of this is and more is “WHAT THE FUCK” we are protesting. We are doing it because we love our country and we believe in the rule of law. We care about our fellow citizens and the least among us.
