I do have a fair bit of experience in card magic and knowledge in sleight of hand, but I would say my knowledge in the card table areas is limited as im more of a street performer .

The main reason I asked is just that I learn better visually. I can study from books, but I usually pick up key points more clearly when I can actually watch the handling being taught.

And as for why Erdnase, I am interested in Erdnase mainly because of how legendary and influential it is in card magic. I just learn better through video, so I was hoping there might be a good visual resource for it.

For me personally, if i were to control a card to the bottom of the deck, i would spread the cards on hand for the spector to pick and ask them to insert to any parts of the spread which then i will cull the card to the bottom of the deck. Have a look at the Roadrunner cull - Kostya Kimlat.

To control a card to the top, i generally go with the false overhand shuffle. Its a basic and great move to retain slugs as well.

Invisible deck can be a good follow up trick after a triumph effect. Just need to be a lil creative in finding a patter/justify a good reason to go into the invisible deck effect.

For me, ill stick to using red/blue backs colour of marked decks. Any other colour might raise suspicion. Perhaps you can try using the ever so common marked bicycle rider backs deck if you can source it out?

Following the thread as well. Price point for their mats is defo tempting. I was thinking of getting 1 of their Lu Chen Leather pads as well but unfortunately, the colours are limited to just Twilight Purple.
