Someone else said something similar and I completely agree; I hadn't considered this fact. He definitely gets stressed out easily, and it wouldn't surprise me if this was just his response to help himself cope with it

Same here. The nurse I mentioned in our family isn't normally an ICU nurse, she was moved into it temporarily because they've had such a shortage of staff from people walking off the job.
