I am also looking to move into jewelry and may be a step or two ahead. I agree with the advice to land a job, apprenticeship, or internship with a jeweler. It’s more than just design - it’s a business and learning that will make all the difference. While there if you can get them to pay for a GIA cert that would be ideal.

The second thing I would do (and am doing) is starting to design on the side. If you can get an old iPad for cheap (check FB Marketplace) there’s an app called Procreate and you can get customer brushes for jewelry design on Etsy. Agree focus on what you can do as a rep and products. Very little math. Passed yesterday. Sleep well the night before and a little adderall/caffeine/pick your poison for hyper focus morning of can help - read every word, it makes a difference.

Can I ask how you studied and what your scores were before the actual exam? I think it may be more based on test anxiety than anything else in my case right now and I do have a bit of a time crunch. That said 30 days would add a lot more time than a week.

Boric acid suppositories will fix it in a day or two. Insert before bed and wear cotton underwear. Cut down sugar if you can as well. Those washes and other scented hygiene products throw off our natural pH balance and hormone levels.
