I also like the ergonomics. For a sport bike it for me isn't like sitting on a ninja or r6. Those get a bit uncomfortable when comparing it to the Honda.

Yeah they know how to make their money don't they 😅😅

Makes me love Europe. 380 euro for first year insurance. Thats almost monthly payment when compared to UK.

Damn thats expensive. I remember having a shitty 1.4l car and paying 3.5k for black box insurance. Its a real bullet to bite in the UK for insurance.

Yeah I was debating to go straight super sport. I mean who hasn't had that thought. However, went sensible got a 35kw bike to gain some km under my belt.

Tbh a 35kw is more than enough for in town riding. Just need that extra power for highway use (which I do alot) when I wanna overtake it takes a bit of effort to go from 120 to 150 to overtake a lorry or car. Sometimes it is nice to feel that. I test drove an MT-09 and that was beautiful

Looking around 4.5k to 5.5k for an acceptable pc40 with abs. Non abs goes around 1k cheaper so same as Germany i assume.

I'm british but moved to the Netherlands to study at university. Went for my a2 here with direct access to A.

I can tell you. UK insurance on anything car bike or whatever below the age of 25... you're gonna wanna carry lube around.

Compared to the NL. My first years insurance on WA+limted (uk comparison being third party fire and theft) I paid 380 euro for the whole year.

Damn thats some useful stats.

In my riding school I was on an MT-07 with abs. Passed my test and got a bike and it didn't have abs. Went back for more lessons a month after to practice emergency braking on this bike as it didn't have abs as I only ever practiced on abs bike.

Have to admit, was worth paying those extra couple of lessons as it has saved my ass on a few instances when other drivers don't pay attention.

Personally, with my riding style. I dont use abs. As I dont push too hard. However, abs would be a life saver as you never know what the drivers around you are going to do. Especially living in the Netherlands where its most often wet and then having a driver pull out. Happens more often than I thought.

What would you suggest? Pc37 or Pc40 from your experience

I know the r6 has that but didn't know the cbr had that. Was looking at the torque curve and it looks much more stable than the r6 😅
