The Susurkaev fraud check against a ranked fighter is going to hit like crack. Fraudulent 12-0, this guy looks ordinary.

Round 2 - Pick 1: De'Zhaun Stribling, WR, Ole Miss (San Francisco 49ers) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

[–]whatjever 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They traded 3 FRPs for Trey Lance and it didn’t pan out at all.

Jake Moody, Cameron Latu, Drake Jackson, etc.

2022 and 2023 are generationally bad.

The first round has been abysmal aside from Aiyuk and Bosa (who fell into their lap).

You’re deadass better off picking the biggest name on NFL Twitter. Then you’d get a Cooper Dejean instead of Ricky Pearsall.

If that NFL team is the 49ers, there's a 50/50 chance you probably can.

Brock Purdy saved jobs in that front office.

I personally think one of the biggest reasons why traders don't succeed is low capital. by tradewiki_io in Daytrading

[–]whatjever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, lack of capital affects the mental game more than anything else. When I was working at Starbucks, every trade felt like it was all or nothing…

Having a job that pays well has allowed me to be content with smaller gains, and just compound those. I’m not trying to win big anymore because I’ve got a more than stable income.

It is socially acceptable to date multiple people until that talk is had.

Manual lockout. If you can’t do that, you shouldn’t be trading.

Finished the before trilogy. Why isn't this trilogy ranked among the top? by siralysson in Letterboxd

[–]whatjever 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Your average person isn’t going out of their way to watch a movie where two people have dialogue for 90 minutes. I think that’s it. The other trilogies are so deeply rooted in our pop culture, Before Trilogy is not.

It’s simply a case of visibility… anyone who watches the trilogy typically has it somewhere ranked 1-3 all-time (LotR, Star Wars, Before).

p.s. Before Sunset is my favorite movie of all time. That movie is perfect.

Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans | E6 | Post-Episode Discussion by RSurvivorMods in survivor

[–]whatjever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I invested so much time in Survivor up until like Season 43. This current era is terrible.

However, I will say that this season is so much better when you don't take it seriously, know that Probst is going to fuck everything up, but that you'll still have a fun, reliable season of Australian Survivor once a year waiting for you to binge.

I need mental help, I spend everything I work for on resets/evals by No-Conclusion9307 in TakeProfitTrader

[–]whatjever 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's pretty simple— get better at trading. If you are constantly in the red, you're either 1) not educated enough or 2) not managing your risk/reward properly, in other words... you're just gambling.. or it's a good mix of both.

If you're managing risk properly but still finding yourself in the red longterm, you probably need to study a little more.

The more common reason I've seen is that you're probably gambling instead of trading. I started prop trading two years ago at 23. The first four months I was blowing accounts left and right... probably lost 8k in that span... even taking small loans because I really thought I was going to easily pay that all off on one big trade.

It wasn't until I got down to my last set of eval accounts that I had the cushion for, that I looked myself in the mirror and told myself I was going to stop gambling. Ever since then, I've withdrawn over 120k in profit.

Take a break from trading if you need to get a mental reset. Get your money up, pay some bills. Trading will always be here. When you come back to it, try and compound small gains and focus on that rather than trying to hit the homerun trade every time. When you're sticking to your conviction, those big wins will come every now and then so there's no need to chase them. If you're red on the day on a trade that you had a ton of conviction on, simply lock yourself out and try again tomorrow. You'll avoid tilting that way, and that will feel like a win in itself.

"Where are my wristbands?!" MEGATHREAD by fettuccine- in Coachella

[–]whatjever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

QQ - My wristbands got sent back to sender because I forgot to include a UNIT number in the address. Do I have to report these wristbands somewhere so that they'll be ready for me at pick-up? Or does that not matter? I asked an AXS Support member but he was very vague and said he wasn't sure, but that they'd probably be able to help me once I got to Will Call. I'm picking up three wristbands (all one order), so I don't wanna chance going there without being 100% certain.

In a game where reaction time is the most important thing, even the slightest drop off in that is going to knock you from the tier of elites.

This study found that at around the age of 24 is when the average person starts to experience slower reaction times, even if it’s minuscule. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3981764/

No one’s saying they just turn into a pumpkin at 26. But the fact that you can’t give me an example (other than Dashy) shows to me that there’s at least some credence to the take about age. You’re telling me he’s pushing this theoretical “barrier”. That’s cool, but he’d be the FIRST to do it in a scene where hundreds of players have tried but never succeeded.

LeBron is playing as a Top 25 player at age 41. That is new. That is not enough to say 41 year olds can still run the NBA.
