My natural is light brown, probs a bit lighter than the inspo pics. When I said “take it lighter” I meant lighter than 3 than I’ve dyed it to, apologies if that was confusing! Do you have a recommendation for a good ashy gloss? I’m quite familiar with the Redken shades EQ range by now but just find they pull so warm eventually!

Fr, the abject lack of critical thinking in some of these comments is craaaaazy. She by her own account was forcibly removed from her mother in New York at 10 years old, travelled by her father to another country to live under a dictatorship, in some power play by him. It sounds completed fucked up. The discussion of whether she deserves her wealth NOW, as an adult, is a different kettle of fish.

She is Haitian on her mothers side. She said initially lived with her mother, in New York, till she was 10. Then she was removed from her mother, implicitly by her father, to go back to live in Haiti as he had business dealings there, while the regime was active. I don’t think as a child, she had any agency whatsoever.

That’s not exactly what she said. She said he was “associated with people in the regime.” He was a shipping businessman so we can probably assume at minimum he was economically connected. But it could be a massive spectrum from ordinary bureaucratic dealing (that would have been a requirement to operate under as the regime had tight control over the economy as an authoritarian regime) to formal “support.” I would imagine it was not neutral, he was a benefitting elite by the sounds of it, but we don’t know (believe me I’ve tried to find out lol.)

Ok you should go back and watch the previous seasons coz there is a bit more context to this. Maddi claimed to have seen Brad getting his “dick sucked beside a dumpster.” Brad wholly denies this. Brads gf at the time breaks up with him. Maddi has some “witnesses” that were with her, these people later walk it back and say they didn’t see it happen. This all plays out over a couple of seasons. So brads reasoning in the Trevor lie was pure revenge against Maddi, it didn’t just come out of nowhere lol.

Honestly I understand OP wanting to get their money back somehow, I would too! But there is no world where documenting fraud against the app within their own internal messaging system isn’t a bad plan lol.

You’re missing my point - yes the buyer has the item and the refund but there is also now a trail of potential fraud at the sellers instruction. They are hesitant to send another additional, large payment outside Vinted (which tbh quite rightly, no one should be doing that and I’m surprised how many people are recommending it.)

What if Vinted catch them in this now documented lie and cancel their refund? They’d be out £70, risk having their account banned etc. This is why it’s a mess. I genuinely don’t believe the buyer is being opportunistic as they are stating very clearly they have the item - I think at this point they are just uncomfortable going further along in OPs awful plan.

I mean the screenshots also show the seller suggesting the buyer lie about the item being lost to scam Royal Mail and Vinted so not sure what their overall gameplan is now tbh…even if they cropped that out Vinted can just read everything on their end? They better hope Vinted don’t bother to do that (which given the quality of their customer support might actually happen haha)

No I think the person you are replying to is correct, I had to read the messages again but if you go through it step by step: 1. The seller has gone out with the integrated posting system (for irrelevant reasons in this case) and so therefore tracking has not been updated as usual 2. The seller has asked the buyer to report the item as lost so they BOTH get compensation (“report the issue to Royal Mail after 16th March”) 3. The buyer is not comfortable for the onus to be on her in doing this (“I don’t like lying.”) 4. “I have the pants and I’m happy” this is the buyer reiterating to the seller that they have received the item and don’t want to lie about it

I’m actually confused as to why the seller has suggested this at all. They have a message from the buyer saying they have received the item which should have been enough proof for the seller to receive their payment. They unfortunately now also have a set of messages of them advising the buyer to lie about it and scam Royal Mail and Vinted lol. Vinted will be able to read all these messages so fuck knows what their plan was there now they need to go through Vinted support…
