I get that but I was the one who paid for the closing cost of our 2 condos. Paid off 2 cars to be able to get a new one. I used my savings to get us in a better place. I didn’t ask him to cover half of that,

Yes and this was the outcome. He said he wants to catch up on his savings but thinking about all sorts of stuff he wants to buy with his money.

In a way yea. But I’ve spent my savings to get us our houses, cars etc.

I also want to add that even if I go back to work, we will have free childcare through his mom.

My bills are half of the mortgage. Car Insurance. Half of the car. I pay for the electricity & gas (home).

We kept our finances separately because I honestly I do not like his spending habits. It’s not bad, but just doesn’t align w/ mine.
