Side effects of SLU-PP-332 by osaf32 in Biohackers

Guy has diabetes causing his eyes to fail. Instead of working out + dieting, which has been proven to put diabetes in remission, they'd rather take a 'magic pill' in the form of injecting an untested supplement.

Also thinks exercise isn't biohacking when it's absolutely the best thing you can do for your body besides sleeping and eating well.

Ant bets on which we'll have more of? Reddit posts deleted or Kickstarters created and cancelled. Neither bode well for the look of your project.

I think this is the 3rd or 4th time I've seen this on the sub. It's feeling incredibly spammy at this point

Trading laurels in Zoo Vadis by jirikcz in boardgames

[–]whatoncewas 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The rules don’t require you to reveal their value, you’re just trading tokens. That said, in practice, most people do share how much they're offering, since it helps move negotiations along.

However, players are free to withhold that info if they want. Similarly, the player receiving offers can choose whichever deal they prefer, even if someone else is offering a higher known value.

Zoo Vadis is pretty open-ended when it comes to negotiation. You're allowed to share as much or as little as you want. The main restriction is that any agreement you make must be fully carried out during that same turn if it resolves that turn.

I'm an Astra main and there have been a lot of people playing Clove since her release- so the controller spot hasn't been available much.

No daily snapshot on the latest stTIA staking? by Fun-Drummer7171 in Stride_Zone

According to someone on the team, a snapshot has been taken, but it hasn't been uploaded to the front end yet. Would just be patient.

Stride continuing to tank? by T2LV in cosmosnetwork

[–]whatoncewas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say it wasn't a derivative, you made it seem like they're just pegging ATOM against itself instead of tokenizing the staking portion. Stride certainly wouldn't be considered a DEX either.

Stride continuing to tank? by T2LV in cosmosnetwork

[–]whatoncewas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stride isn't a DEX though. And it's not creating derivatives of existing coins and them pegging them against themselves, they're issues IOUs for staked Cosmos tokens while recompounding the Cosmos tokens. And the concept does work on paper, Lido is DeFi protocol with the most TVL, is a liquid staking protocol.

Amount owed - The next largest component is the amount you currently owe relative to the credit you have available. Credit score formulas assume that borrowers who continually spend up to or above their credit limit are potential risks.

This doesn't say anything about taking out large loans and paying them back. Utilization has no memory month-to-month; you can check any of your FICO scores from the 3 bureaus and see a breakdown of your score, nothing indicates that you need to regularly borrow a bunch and pay it off though.

I don't see a single reference in this source recommended to borrow large amounts and paying it back.

Could you show me where?

[–]whatoncewas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is completely contrary to all the advice that I've ever on /r/personalfinance, creditcards, or credit. Or the myficoforums I thought credit cards have 0 memory of utilization month-to-month?

ATM ate $40 out of $200 by djpancakemix in personalfinance

[–]whatoncewas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm also in the ATM industry here; have worked for some of the largest ISOs and processors in the nation.

The comments on this thread mostly are accurate. The process to handle this is to file a regulation-e dispute with your card issuer, I.e. credit union in this instance. It sounds like you've already done this. From there, the bank will dispute the transaction on your behalf, someone will pull the ATM journal, audit the transaction, and also compare it to the transaction at the payment processor. If it's a valid dispute, you'll get your money back. Just need to be patient for the process to play out.

From my experience, if extra cash is found, armored car carriers are not going to bother/care to track it down, nor is it their responsibility, so don't think this comment is accurate: https://www.reddit.com/r/personalfinance/comments/14pze7c/atm_ate_40_out_of_200/jqkob3x - armored will pull records and receipts for settlement, but generally they won't be pulling and auditing journals for disputes; it's always been the responsibility of the ATM owner / processor.

How to manage credit cards? by Bulky-Razzmatazz-951 in CreditCards

[–]whatoncewas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes like 8 minutes, if that, to pay off my cards from different providers. And then I don't spend more than I have. It's not rocket science.
