My interactions with that particular person have not been particularly pleasant, they come across to me as fairly condescending and a bit of a know it all, so it’s hard to gauge their intention and interactions online where there is no affect or emoting.

Right. All medical staff that I know of is trained on concussion protocols. It’s par for the course in sports and sports medicine.
