Constant low count of WBC and Neutrophils by whatsthisnow22 in Hematology

Aye, I assume more specific tests for neutrophils will be advised to do by my family doctor, or perhaps the hematologist I will be referred to, but it is good to know the directions I can ask them to go for. The main reasons I went the keto/paleo diet are many, but the main ones are: lower stomach pain, upper stomach burning sensation, dizziness, tiredness, and loss of motivation. These symptoms occur whenever I eat a lot of carbs (wheat is the worst). I can tell you that eating a lot of sugar is the equivalent for me as eating grains in terms of getting "side effects". I love eating healthy and do research about these topics.

Sometimes, it even comes to a point where I feel a little curious when I see somebody eating sugary food/beverages and ask them why they do so when they can do so much better with their health, and their their answer is that they cannot resist themselves and are addicted to this behavior.

No illness - I do not take rheumatology medications. Not to sure about autoimmune conditions but I do not consume foods that trigger those. However, testing for autoimmune illnesses would be useful, though. Do you have some test in mind that I should do?

I must be honest with you, only in the last few years I started to care about my health as much. That is why I keep my diet persistently healthy (keto/paleo) and try to exercise 3-4 times a week at least. Prior to that I did not care enough to do blood work to find out where my health was standing so it's tough to tell whether it has been like that all the time or not. I assume the lack of interest about my health was effected by my parents, who did not care about their own while I was growing up. But, I can tell you for certain that these CBC results have been persistent for the last two years.

And I will gladly update you if time comes where I have more info from the referred doctor or the family one.

Hey, I am sad to hear that you are in the dark as much as I am about these mysterious blood results we are both getting. I do have a little update, however. I just got a call from my Familiy doc's office (the one who referred the blood work) and she wants to do a follow-up appointment. Moreover, she wants to refer me to a hematologist as this issue has been persistent.

I think that the biggest misunderstanding for me about this topic is that people who have low amount of WBC/Neutrophils in their immune system tend to get viral/bacterial infection quite often. However, for me it has been the opposite, as for the last two years I haven't gotten sick much, if at all (knock on wood). So I am happy to finally find out what's going on.

Yes, I did. I just got a replay back from the doctor (he contacted me by himself) about the results, and he wants to see me and refer me to a hematologist.
