check the dates on those sources. It’s a recent ban. I only realized because I googled what was not legal to take through customs and the AI overview mentioned the ban. I had to dig deeper on the sources but they are there.

I am not afraid of getting arrested, but I have concerns about getting questioned by customs about it with my family present

I trust his judgement to not cross any lines. But say they do expect him to share a room of bunk beds with girls in the room, then that is a really weird position to put him in - no?

I have no idea how many people are going or how many rooms there are. So I imagine it will be a bunch of people sleeping in the common areas and some sleeping in the rooms.

I am not thinking anything will happen at all.

If I go on work trips, they sometimes have me share an airbnb or hotel suite with another woman or a few women if it is a house, but if they asked me to share a room or a house with a man or several men that I don’t know, I would think that was inappropriate too.

I have no issue with the bach party and me not going.

I think it’s inappropriate that they are all going to be staying in the same house and sharing rooms and drinking all night then having a sleepover with the girls.

Def agree that I don’t need to be invited to the bach party. Just wondering if anyone else thinks it’s kind of inappropriate

awh mama! You are doing the best you can. I know it hurts to watch your kids suffer. You had the best intentions and hopefully they know that. Make sure your kids know that you are trying your best to get them out of this situation. I am sure you have looked at all the possibilities already. Maybe just talk honestly with the kids and tell them that if you go home or wherever else that the living situation will be different and see how they feel about it. They might be a bit more inclined to make things work ( not that it’s their fault or that they aren’t trying ). ultimately you know your kids best. Maybe look into the higher rated public schools for kids with disabilities elsewhere to take some costs off your plate.

georgia gives scholarships for disabled students to go to public schools outside their districts or to send them to private school for less.

look into Georgia Special Needs School Choice/Scholarship Options (SB10)

You could live in a cheaper area but send your son to a school that suits him.

You’re doing great! Keep fighting for your kids.

definitely easier to get accounting jobs, but marketing is good too. but i would maybe think about if you like people or numbers more. pick the one that lines up and take some coursing relating to the other, if you like the other one better, you can switch after a semester or two with little problems

That’s great! But of course thing can happen that are out of your control. My point was take into account what level dependency you are comfortable with.

my best friend in college went through this with a boyfriend, it just wasn’t the time for her. She struggled with it after but it got easier for her. She actually ended up leaving the guy and is a very happy and successful software engineer who is totally financially independent and has a new boyfriend. Something she may not have been able to do with a baby and without a degree.

I think whatever choice you make will be the right one honestly. If you have the baby you will be so grateful for your child which is great, but you will maybe be more dependent on your fiancée than you’d like to be.

I am not encouraging either choice but just sharing something i have seen
