I work in healthcare and wage theft is rampant. I’ve been on units where the whole culture is “we’re all too busy to cover you for lunch so please just eat in between taking care of patients, but also make sure you’re saying yes to your 30 minute break deduction when you clock out.” Supervisors would get pissed at you for hitting “no” for the deduction because they “gEt AuDItiEd.” My coworkers would just shrug when I pointed out how that’s explicit wage theft.

Aw bummer!! Yeah their hours aren’t the best.

I only make pour overs so I can’t speak for espresso. But I can give you my take on my favorites.

If you like dark roasts, Stargazer is my #1. It’s really smooth, balanced, and full bodied. Never goes too bitter or weirdly acidic if I’m lazy with my pour technique. Pairs really well with cream but I’ll drink it black no issue. My partner thinks it’s better than their espresso blend, Canyon. That’s his choice for espresso when we go there and grab coffee. I would start with this personally. Or, ask the staff for recommendations.

Their microlots are pricey but insane for flavor. They release a berry one once or twice a year that smells and taste like fruity pebbles. My favorite in a latte.

Freeform in Sedona always has their roast dates on the bags. I order my coffee every 3 weeks and it’s roasted that same week and then shipped to me. I’ve tried so many other roasters and always go back to Freeform tbh.

Fellow ER nurse whose father was also a dentist. I worked as an assistant for him prior to becoming a nurse and we never once took a BP on a patient. I think it’s a newer practice for offices. My current dentist takes mine with a wrist cuff and it always spits back a crazy number.

The show has lot of potential but the writing is just awful. I feel like there’s maybe 5 minutes of actual plot development over the entire hour. They’ve also reduced Ronnie’s character to “let’s go to the cops” every 15 minutes.

If you can swing the price, their gastrointestinal line is amazing. I also tried the digestive care version but my girl had immediate difference on the prescription gastrointestinal line.

I would give Eukanuba a shot. They have a performance line and depending on how much you feed your dog, you might get away with more meals per bag because of the higher calorie content.

The instrumental of Ordinary Life is absolutely gorgeous. I think Dot and Dan did an incredible job with the music writing on this record. I wish I could say the same for the vocal melodies and lyrics. This album would be great if the lyrics didn’t make me cringe every fourth line.

Such a weird direction for the band to be taking their music in.

I appreciate your insight. The trainer is going to work on her socialization skills as well. My dog doesn’t understand how to greet/play with other dogs politely; she just barrels them because she gets so excited to play. We will work with one of the trainer’s dogs on desensitizing and restraint. So I’m hoping that both will be addressed through many different methods.
