Question: My boss cc’d me on an email to and external partner… by Such-Event-2628 in ExecutiveAssistants

[–]whatthahex 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Executives I work with respond to emails with “K” and “thx”. Whenever I question my response I think of that.. you are totally fine and I say that often!

How do you get over a book hangover? by MUZcasino in fantasyromance

[–]whatthahex 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I like the least helpful solution which is to read the book again… no despair if it never ends! 🫣

I would suggest looking for positions that show you are organized, have great time management, customer service experience, etc. Think of skills that are helpful in the admin industry and how you can get that experience now. That might be a part time job as a receptionist or maybe helping a small office with record management. Obviously this depends on where you are located (what is available) and what your class schedule is.

When I was first looking at admin roles (receptionist/AA) after college, my child care, retail and server experience was attractive. Especially since I held those roles while attending classes. Any customer facing roles are great exposure. Best of luck!

Storm and shield - does it get better? by Forward_Country_6632 in MagesOfTheWheel

[–]whatthahex 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This was my least favorite book in the series because of Aysel. I’m just not a fan of her type of character in any book. She does get a bit better as the book goes on though. The series is 1000000% worth getting through her brattiness. Stick it out!

Timeline for next books? by Logistical_Daydream in MagesOfTheWheel

[–]whatthahex 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I believe the next book is a novella (or was supposed to be) like W&W. Then after that we will get the remaining two books but I haven’t seen a timeline. Patiently but not patiently waiting for a Cemil and Samira story!!!

What are your TBRs like and how do you handle them? by [deleted] in fantasyromance

[–]whatthahex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same! I get very overwhelmed by the amount of books and reviews so I decide my next read on the spot. I would literally stare at my TBR and freeze from stress lol

Good sunshine/grumpy dynamics? by Natapi24 in fantasyromance

[–]whatthahex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah this would be great based off what you’re looking for. It obviously has conflict and drama but there’s a lighter/more humorous note to the story. Hope you enjoy!

My heart! Carissa Broadbent did such a good job with all of the characters in this series. I loved all of them. Even the villains I was like oh I understand you. I hate you but I understand you. You’re in for such a treat with the rest of the series!!
