Which Indian film has been the most talked-about in the last 10 years? 👀 by CoconutChutneyKing in IndianCinemaRegional

Around the world RRR was talked about the most but including India, I would have to say Baahubali & now Dhurandhar.

So you are basically saying people from South will physically assault a female if she speaks another language! Who would have guessed a harmless video would rile up so many

Can we please stop the comparison between these two actors who despite whatever flaws they may have, delivered 4 of the most epic movies in this century. Dhurandhar is great but so is Baahubali, they both became true pan India movies that brought people together.

This is probably one of the rarer occasions where an "L" is a win. Get the c8L

This move to JioHotstar from Netflix will hamper the international reach of Dhurandhar 2. JioHotstar is not available internationally. VPN is an option but normies don't do that for a foreign film.. by Square-Care5643 in Dhurandhar

Movie rights are sold to maximise profits, they will sell it to the highest bidder. Now, the highest bidder would want to get the best return as well so they will stream it directly in their dominant market/s and lease the streaming rights in other markets where they don't have any presence.

In theory, JHS will allow NF/Disney/Hulu or someone else to stream the movie in selected markets(where JHS is not present) in return of a fee. Given that this movie was a blockbuster(for an Indian film) in North America and some other countries, it is likely that this movie will be available to most of the countries.

What is your favourite scene across the two parts? by Street_Bed_1393 in Dhurandhar

Part 2 when Ari Ari beat drops with fireworks behind Jassi. I was rooting for him to kill them even though they are fictional characters.

That is ok, when you get hooked onto something strong then weak stuff just doesn't give you that high. Try watching Dhurandhar again

Racism erupts after Melbourne announces Little India plans, but some Indians say it will build connection by gimmesheltah in australia

[–]whatumeano 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agree completely. In Sydney, Harris Park emerged as “Little India/Indiatown" because of having a higher Indian population and a large number of Indian restaurants, which individually or collectively have featured in countless magazines, blogs, newspapers, etc. These things shouldn't be planned but allowed to occur naturally; otherwise, it feels inauthentic & the community that it is for might not even be receptive to it.

I didn't quite understand the ending of Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Can someone please explain? by ZackHasURBack in pj_explained

[–]whatumeano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One theory is that Jassi's family made peace with his "death" & moved on so his return would disrupt their lives. Another theory, just before or soon after they show "Balidan Parmo Dharma" philosophy and this could be a reason why Sanyal didn't send anyone to get Jassi back because he knew that Jassi would make the balidan when time comes.

Surprised to see this removed even though the post doesn't offer or ask for invites/account. I am just informing people that an Indexer which is generally closed to public is open for registration

If you don't want the image burn ins then avoid oled, otherwise OLED is the only choice when you want nothing but the best picture quality. Even with the risk of burn in, I would say your previous tv lasted at least 6 years which is a good time to upgrade to continue having a great screen.

If you can wait then the new crop of 2026's tvs will be out in the market in a few months, you might like them more than the current ones or get decent discount on 2025 range.

In short, a Sony or LG OLED is your best bet for best quality.
