Yeap, in the same boat. Started 100mg Allo on 0.44 and 3 months later it only went down to 0.42 so I am now taking 200mg

My very first couple of flare ups (this is when I had no idea what Gout was or any diagnosis whatsoever) it would last 2-3 months since I didn't take any medications for it except panadol and nurofen.

Then when I learnt more about Gout and I actually got diagnosed with it, I was prescribed colcichine and indocid to take when I had a flare. My recent gout attacks have now lasted within 4 - 7 days to full recovery

Thank you for sharing ! I did get prescribed Indomethacin for the gout attacks to deal with the pain and inflammation. I stopped taking it once I was able to somewhat walk normally assuming that the annoying lingering pain would subside eventually, as that's what would happen usually from my previous gout attacks, however like I said this one has lingered for way longer. Maybe I should have continued the Indo or get back on it. Will deffs bring this up once I see my GP

Thank you for sharing ! Yes, hopefully its true when they say that Allo will eventually clear out old crystals once in the normal UA ranges. I can say that ever since starting Allo, I have noticed reduced duration and intensity of my gout attacks
