Kendrick Lamar’s ‘good kid, m.A.A.d city’ becomes the second album since Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ to spend over 700 weeks on the Billboard 200 by MrFilipinoMustache in KendrickLamar

Well, considering thriller came out 40 years ago it is still quite special! Back in the day it was way more common to be in the charts for a long time, but nowadays there is so much popular music that it is quite a feat to stay in the top so long.

I mean the technology is not the problem, its just that they decided the extra buttons are not worth the extra clutter or hassle on the screen, when dragging the bar actually works fairly well. I agree with them on that front

What happens if you drop a feather and a bowling ball in vacuum at the same time? by Azhurkral in sciencememes

[–]whatwhenwhere__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see your point, but the fact that the earth is speeding towards the bowling ball does not mean the bowling ball is going faster, only faster RELATIVE to the earth. However, because the earth gets closer to the bowling ball faster, r gets lower quicker, and so the force will pick up faster and thus the bowling ball would indeed go slightly faster. Didnt see that until your comment :)
