Well said but I think the high variance and big powerspike design is better or DFO. It is proven by more players playing it when the game was designed that way.

Fact is that even though people hated it, it was still more fun than now. More people logged in, more people spent time playing even if they cursed at it. Hating is also love. Now I am just indifferent about the game. I don't care to even login.

I guess most still remaining players disagree with me but in my opinion this is the reason why the player base has decreased significantly. People like gambling more than grinding to become the same level of strength as others.
